Inter Milan Nike 2008-09 Training Kits / Jerseys

The team is wearing one of Inter’s 2008-09 training kits. Players featured in the video below include Adriano and Mancini. Inter Milan’s home kit is due for release on July 18th, 2008. Palmeiras adidas 2008-09 Home Kit / Jersey

Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, usually called Palmeiras, is a Brazilian football team from São Paulo. The team was founded on August 26, 1914, as Società Sportiva Palestra Italia but changed to the current name on September 14, 1942. It is one of the most popular Brazilian clubs once represented by Roque Junior, Roberto Carlos and Rivaldo.

Palmeiras launched their 2008-09 adidas home kit earlier this week. The team has already used them in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A this week.

FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Marseille 2008

We don’t know if anybody knew that this annual tournament has started today. It’s a hard find on TV but live online coverage is available in the UK and several other countries at FIFA.com. Here are today’s results and some pictures from the tournament that some of you might enjoy.

  • Senegal survived a spirited comeback to beat France on penalties after a thrilling 5-5 draw in front of a vociferous crowd in Marseille.
  • With goalkeeper Luis Rodas in outstanding form, El Salvador threatened an upset early on, but Portugal turned on the style to win 8-2.
  • Uruguay made a positive start to their bid to qualify from Group A, a Ricar hat-trick inspiring them to a comprehensive 6-1 win over Iran. Eleven goals provided the crowd with a fitting curtain-raiser to Marseille 2008, Italy scoring seven of them against the brave Solomon Islands.

United States Men's Olympic Team Named

Roster Features 12 Players With Men’s National Team Experience, 11 Who Were Part of Qualifying Squad

U.S. Men’s Olympic Team head coach Peter Nowak has named the 18 players who will represent the United States at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. The roster features 12 players who have experience at the full national team level, including the three youngest players on the team, Freddy Adu, Jozy Altidore and Michael Bradley, and the most senior member of the team in Brian McBride. The official roster is due to FIFA no later than July 23.

Udinese Calcio Lotto 2008-09 Home, Away and Third Kits / Jerseys

Italian Serie A club, Udinese Calcio, introduced their new web portal, channel and 2008-09 Lotto kits during a recent press conference. The kit models are Udinese player Simone Pepe, Antonio Floro Flores and Giovanni Pasquale. The news shirt are among the best Udinese has had in recent times. The fact that the shirt sponsor is the sportwear company making the shirts makes them even better. These are definitely collectors items.

The team will be looking to better last season’s their 7th place finish in the Serie A.

Middlesbrough Errea 2008-09 Away Kit / Jersey

BORO’S new-look away strip is a blast from the past. Unveiled today, the new shirt sees a return of the blue and black vertical stripes that were so popular with the club’s supporters in the early 1970s.

Featuring black shorts and socks with a blue trim, the stunning new kit will make its Boro debut when Gareth Southgate’s team take on York City at Kit Kat Crescent on Friday night (July 18, 7.30pm).
