Legitimate AC Milan and Real Madrid Adidas 2009/10 Home Kit Leaks

’Tis the season for new football (or soccer if you are American or Aussie) shirt. Clubs are releasing new kits on a daily basis right now to cash in on the hopes of greatness that builds between seasons.

Back in February, we brought you leaks of the Adidas Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and AC Milan 2009/10 home kits. The Chelsea leak proved to be accurate. Now it appears that the Real Madrid and AC Milan leaks were legitimate as well. This is because a major Dutch sporting gear website has published a banner featuring and pictures of the Adidas 09/10 AC Milan and Real Madrid. Also, pictures from the Adidas “Every team needs the 12th Man” campaign feature the new shirts.

Given that the Real Madrid jersey follows the template used by the 09/10 Adidas, Liverpool away, Ajax Amsterdam away and Seattle Sounders FC home kits, we think that it is real.

Another Arsenal Nike 2009/10 Away Kit Leak

Here’s another leak of the Arsenal Nike 2009/10 away shirt that has surfaced on the internet. This leak could very well be legitimate as it is similar to an image recently posted on the Arsenal online store site showing Cesc Fàbregas in a teaser of the Gunners 2009/10 Nike away kit. Unlike a previous leak circulating on the internet, the 09/10 kit appears to be blue and not green in colour. Pin stripes may also be present. Stay tuned for more.

FC Twente Diadora 2009/10 Home Kit / Thuistenue

FC Twente is a Dutch professional football club from the city of Enschede that recently finished the 2008/09 season in second place in the Dutch Eredivisie. They are currently managed by former Middlesbrought and England manager Steve McClaren.

Yesterday, FC Twente, Diadora and players Jeroen Heubach and Blaise Nkufo presented the club’s home kit (or “thuistenue” in Dutch if you prefer) for the 2009/10 season. It will be worn for the first time during this Sunday’s KNVB Cup final against Heerenveen.

Here’s a look at the retro-inspired FC Twente Diadora 2009/10 home kit. Diadora and FC Twente claim that it was designed based on input from FC Twente’s fans.
