Carlo Cudicini Poses in the Tottenham Hotspur Goalkeeper Kit

Italian goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini has joined Tottenham Hotspur on a free transfer after 10 years at Stamford Bridge. Here’s a first look at the former Chelsea keeper in the Tottenham goalie strip.

The 35-year-old was once voted the best goalkeeper in England but has been second choice to Petr Cech for the last five years.

Cudicini played 216 times for the Chelsea, but missed out on Premier League winners’ medals having not played the required amount of matches when Chelsea won the titles in 2004-05 and 2005-06.

Wavering stars Ronaldinho and Adriano have been recalled by Brazil coach Dunga for next month’s friendly against Italy in London.

Brazil face FIFA World Cup 2006 winner Italians at Arsenal’s Emirates stadium on Feb. 10. This is the first meeting between the two sides since a 3-3 draw in France in 1997.

Júbilo Iwata and Shimizu S-Pulse Puma 2009/10 Home, Away and Goalkeeper Kits

Japanese J. League Division 1 sides Júbilo Iwata and Shimizu S-Pulse have unveiled their 2008/09 home, away and goalkeeper kits. The league’s 2009/10 season kicks off in February.

The kit design’s appear to follow a new Puma template that the sportwear company is using for the 2009/10 FC Zenit St. Petersburg and Feyenoord Rotterdam kits.

Sascha Kljestan became the first American to score his first three international goals in the same game since Donelli 75 years ago, leading the United States over Sweden 3-2 in an exhibition Saturday night.

Making his 12th international appearance, Kljestan beat goalkeeper Johan Dahlin with a 34-yard free kick in the 17th minute, then converted a penalty kick in the 40th following a foul on Marvell Wynne by Adam Johansson.

After Daniel Nannskog scored for Sweden on a diving 14-yard header in the 73rd, Kljestan made it 3-1 on a 12-yard shot a minute later off a pass from Brian Ching. Mikael Dahlberg put an 8-yard header past U.S. goalkeeper Troy Perkins in the 89th off Alexander Farnerud’s second assist.
